- A Virginia prosecutor decided not to bring charges against officers who repeatedly used their stun guns on Linwood Lambert before his death in 2013. Graphic video footage showed three Virginia officers tasing Linwood Lambert Jr. up to 20 times while handcuffed outside a hospital. Lambert had initially been brought to the hospital to receive medical attention and later died following the incident.
- A Rensselaer County, NY, Court judge ruled Monday that Troy Officer Randy French could not be questioned over his fatal shooting of Edson Thevenin earlier this month after he tried to flee a traffic stop and hit a police vehicle.
- Wausau officers shot and killed a suspect armed with a knife after they failed to subdue him. Four officers are on leave pending an investigation into the incident.
- Miami Gardens Police Officer Deandre Morris was fired over allegations that he committed sexual battery on a woman during a traffic stop.
